 Back in 2020, when we all suddenly had a lot of time on our hands, I stumbled across some images from a vintage car show I had attended. The show was held at Dauphin Way Baptist in Mobile, AL, and it was my first time experiencing a car show. I was completely captivated by the beautiful automobiles on display.

When I rediscovered those images, I decided to experiment with one in Photoshop to see if I could transform it into a coloring page. Before long, I had enough images for an entire book! That’s when I started researching how to publish a coloring book and discovered Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). I made a lot of coloring books that year—most of them weren’t very good, but I stuck with it and learned along the way. Sometimes the best way to improve is simply to keep trying.

Fast forward to 2024. Teaching in a city far from home left me with extra time on my hands. That’s when I discovered the creative potential of AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E. I dove headfirst into creating coloring books, powered only by words and carefully crafted prompts. There’s a lot of science behind the technology, but to me, it feels like magic—just like all the advancements we use every day without a second thought.

I’m thrilled to announce that my love for vintage cars has come full circle with the release of my new Classic Car Coloring Books for 2024! These books feature beautifully detailed illustrations of iconic automobiles from the 1920s through the 1970s, making them a perfect gift for car enthusiasts or anyone who loves creative relaxation.
