This book is a heartfelt tribute to the amazing German Shepherd breed, perfect for anyone who loves these heroic and loyal dogs. German Shepherds have been a significant part of my life from the very beginning. From dear old Duke, a magnificent moccasin-killer who helped my parents welcome me into the world and protected me until I was about 5, to Bella, my precious friend who helped me grieve the loss of my parents half a century later, German Shepherds have been some of my dearest companions. Their bravery, loyalty, and loving nature inspired me to create a book that celebrates this incredible breed.
