Even if the weather is hot and humid, walking through a marshy or woody area in shorts and a T-shirt may be inviting mosquitoes to feast on you. Also, I have found that wearing a fisherman’s vest with a lot of pockets makes swapping lenses and other camera gear much easier than digging into a camera bag or backpack.
